This organization is established for the proper identification of the youth problems prevalent in Nepal orienting to understanding of youths’ duties and responsibility to promote contribute the solutions of youth unemployment, youth power, labour and skill development for the sake of civilized society. According to Regd. 2034, the proposal of this organization is designated under the policy of Government of Nepal and the prevailing law.
Mr Ashit B.K. is the Founder President of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). He has more than ten years working experience of social development sector in different NGOs /private and I organizations. He has a good leading capacity in organization, management and capacity to handle the critical situation. He can also play a vital role in teamwork and fund-raising. He has been working as a section head and administrative chief. Likewise, he has also involved in various research and programmes of Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS. Similarly, he has participated in international workshop and conference of youth professionalism. Mr. BK has individually conducted youth professional programme and partnership project for youth development. In addition, he manages an overall function of office, administrative support to the representative by using extensive knowledge of organizational policy with a high level of technical skill. Mr. BK operates with a considerable independent judgment and initiative. He, maintaining a high degree of confidentiality, arranges the calendar of project, and coordinates with internal and external individuals to optimize time and to facilitate the exchange of information. In addition to his responsibilities as a senior member of the executive management team of the Corporation, he provides leadership to the Board to enhance Board effectiveness. The Board has ultimate accountability for supervision of the management of YPDSN. He provides leadership and governance of the Board to create the conditions for overall the effectiveness of Board, and ensures that the Board discusses all key and appropriate issues in a timely manner.
Mr. Netra KC is a Founder Vice-President of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). He has seven year working experience of Graphic Designing. He is a professional graphic designer working in different designing organization. Regarding his academic qualification, he has completed graduate in Rural Development and English from RR Campus, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He is also holding Master’s Degree in Rural Development from Tri-chandra Campus, Kathmandu Nepal. He has involved in different technological field (CAN), Member of Graphic Designing Association Nepal. He is responsible to support president and fund-raising and institution partnership development. Mr Netra has responsible for Data Management. Working with the board of directors and other senior executives of the organization, the vice president plans, develops and enforces policies and objectives for the organization to ensure it maintains its values and meets established goals. The vice president creates public awareness initiatives and ensures the organization is visible to the community and those interested in assisting the foundation. This may include assigning staff members to coordinate fundraisers, community events and other programs to create responsiveness to the organization.
Mr. Dipak Tharu is a Founder Secretary General of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). He has 12-year- working experience in teaching field. Therefore, he has a good command in both written and spoken English except advocacy, designing programme, good coordination with staffs and so on. He is still working as an English Instructor in different schools and/ or institutes. Besides this, he has worked as a volunteer at Micro Enterprise Development Nepal. He is quite interested in working as a social worker to advance the society and bring about the upliftment of Nepalese livelihood. Mr Dipak has been taking responsibility of M&E section, proposal writing and report writing. He has graduated in English and Rural Development from Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus, Exhibition Road, Kathmandu. He is also holding MA English, MA Anthropology and BEd. in English from Tribhuvan University. He is responsible for M&E section, organization development and innovation work, programmes proposal writing and report writing committee leader of YPDSN. He provides administrative and clerical support to the Board, through the timely and accurate collection and sharing of information directly related to its activities. He ensures that the Board is well informed and that its activities are well documented for the use of Board members, the Governance Committee and relevant government bodies. Board members work both individually and collectively in governing YPDSN affairs through the development, approval and evaluation of policy and budget. He provides planning and implementation services to the Board. He acts on the board’s behalf in accordance only with board motions and policy guidelines and only as requested and in accordance with Board resolutions with respect to representation of the Society.
Mr. Janak Raj Adhikari is a found Treasurer of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). He has good knowledge and skills of an organization management and fund raising and human resource management, coordination as well as motivational power. He has been working for eight years in art and painting. He has also involved in different social organization as a consultant. As for his academic qualification he has completed BBs from Adikavi Bhanubhakta Multipul Campus, Tanahun. He is fully dedicated and active in order to lead YPDSN organization. Mr. Adhikari is fully responsible for handling organization operation, finance & human resource and social development sector.
Mr. Hira BK is founder member of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). He has Ten year working experience of teaching field in Higher Secondary School. Besides teaching, he’s a secretary of Youth Network. Regarding his academic qualification, he has completed BBs and Bed from Adikavi Bhanubhakta Multipul Campus, Tanahun, Nepal.
Mr. Mekha Bahadur Baral is a founder member of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). He has five year working experience of marketing officer. He has travelled Saudi, Dubai, Qatar, Malaysia and Afghanistan for international business expansion. Mr. Baral has graduate Business and marketing from Adikavi Bhanubhakta Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He is fully responsible research project conducting, planning team handling. He has also holding Master Degree in Social Work Adikavi Manubhakta Multiple Campus.
Ms. Tara Basnet is a founder member of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). She has involved in District Agriculture Programmes, Elecetricity wiring Training Friendship Youth Club, Press and Human Right Orientation Programmes. She has been working in Bhatbhateni Super Market as a sale coordinator for two years.
Ms. Asmita Nepali is a founder member of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). She is a social worker, involved in different I/NGOs and private organizations. She has become a member of various organizations. She is still working in an organizations as a social worker. As for her academic qualification, she has graduated in English and Social works from Kathmandu Model College. She is also holding Master Degree in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Kathamndu Nepal.
Mr. Rabindra Rai is a founder member of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). He has seven year working experience in different I/NGOs and private organizations. He is still working in Health Research and Social Development Forum (HERD) as Administration Assistant and Security Supervisor.
Ms. Ganga Rana is a founder member of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). She is a staff Nurse working in different hospital, She worked in Om Samaj Hospital and is still working in Sumeru Hospital as a staff Nurse. As for her academic qualification, she has passed PCL in Nursing from Green Tara College of Health Science, Bhainsepati Laliptur, Nepal. She is also holding BSc in Nursing from Green Tara College of Health Science, Bhainsepati Laliptur, Nepal.
Mr. Bishal BK is a founder member of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). He is responsible for organization Administrative overall work and coordination with stakeholder and partner organization. He has two years working experience of office management, operational work, printing and press operator. He is holding Bachelor of Arts in Rural Development and Sociology from Pashupati Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Chabahil, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Mr. Shrestha is a young psychology and a public health professional. He has more than 10 years of working experiences in the field of health and development in Nepal especially in disease control and behavioral sciences. Mr. Shrestha completed his Master of Public Health (MPH) with Merit from Manchester Metropolitan Unviersity, UK and Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology (MA Psychology) from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. He has also concluded Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology (PGDCP) from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu.
He is involved in teaching public health and psychology in different colleges of Nepal. He is also associated with different national and international journals as an editor and peer reviewer. He is also involved with different youth related organizations. He was the member of the United States Youth Coucil (USYC) for 2013 in Nepal. He has participated in different national and international level trainings. His interests lies in research, teaching-learning and self-study. He has a great interest in music and traveling.
Mr. Manoj Kumar Dhungana is a vibrant member staff of Young Professional Development Society Nepal(YPDSN). Mr. Manoj is adept at building rapport and making a good relationship with the governmental agencies and local stakeholders. His roles and responsibilities are really amendable because of his great contributions for the organization. He is endowed with constructive ideas to effectively implement the programmes for achieving the targeted goals. For the organization, he is a role model, who leads and directs staffs towards making progressive and fruitful program. Besides this, he undertakes the major responsibility to manage administrative functions and implement them systematically and effectively. He worked as a logistic officer at Health Research and Social Development Forum (HERD) based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Mr. Prakash Kharel is an active team member of Young Professional Development Society Nepal (YPDSN). Mr. Kharel is a qualified and well- experienced staff of YPDSN. He has ten years of working experience in tourism sector. He is still working as a managing director at Creative Holidays Nepal Pvt Ltd, Muktinath Trip Pvt Ltd and as a Director of Sales and Promotion Hotel Rainforest. He is also working as an Executive Director at Hotel Lake Star, Pokhara. He has a very good personality among the staffs in his office. He is quite good at operating and managing different official activities. In fact, he is honest, kind-hearted, cooperative and hardworking. He is always dedicated to his work. Regarding his academic qualification, he has graduated at BSCIT from Pokhara University. Besides this, he has taken training of managerial activities. He has attained A and MCSE. In addition, he has attended in various programmes and events in which he achieved innovating knowledge and skills to operate and/ handle official activities. He has capability to build a rapport with the strangers. Moreover, he got a new vision to smoothly run organization in a proper cooperation with team members. Thus, he is playing an important role to promote organization’s plans and programmes.
